Cancellations must be received in writing to the Symposium Office. Please note transfer of your registration to another person is accepted and the full name and details of the person that will replace you must be advised in writing to the Symposium Office prior to the conference commenced. No refunds will be made for non-attendance at the Symposium.

No. authors must submit their papers first, if they receive acceptance notification, then they will be invited for full registration and payment
Any financial certificate can only be issued after full registration. You may apply for this certificate by sending a request to
SASTech@khi.ac.ir
Those articles selected by the scientific board of reviewers in the commissions will be nominated for publishing in supporting journals. However, no paper will be published without written consent of all relevant authors.
Not at all. What makes a paper nominee for publication is its content, originality and innovation. This will be judged by scientific board of reviewers in the relevant conference panel.
You may present your paper using video conferencing facilities. For more information you can check video conferencing part in the site.
The decisions on papers are announced about 4 weeks after the submission date.
Certificates of attendance/participation for these participants will be sent to their postal address in less than 10 days. However, a digital copy of these certificates can be sent through emails if requested.
All accepted papers will have the chance to present their work during the conference. Only those papers that hold innovative scientific content and are well-written will be selected by the board of reviewers for publication. All published papers will get indexed in Scopus and other major databases. The reviewers will also consider the presentation skills as well as how the presenter answers the board questions during presentation for nominating the paper for publication.
Yes, all and each one of authors will receive a separate hard copy certificate.

For those participants who do not have the means of attending the event personally, we provide video conferencing facilities and make sure that they are able to perform an online presentation to the conference audiences and referees. Similar to physical presentations, the authors of selected papers that wish to present their work online are asked to prepare and submit their slides and login to our system at the time of their presentation. The duration of the presentation would be similar to normal presentations and there will be a Q&A session right after, where the commission chair(s) will ask questions and/or provide feedback on their presentation/article.
Please note that regardless of the type of presentation, all presented articles will get indexed in ISC and extended versions of selected papers will be published by Springer and indexed in Scopus. The selection of the papers will take place after the conference. While we provide the necessary infrastructure for video-conferencing, authors whom wish to use this service should ensure that they have the proper infrastructure on their side as well. For this you should:A. Use a system with:
• 1.4 GHz processor and above
• 2 GB of RAM and more
• Sound card
• Webcam
B. Have a proper Internet connection with the minimum bandwidth of 2048 kbps
Furthermore, you are responsible for:
- Installing the required software that we send to you at least 1 week before the start of the conference.
- Sending PowerPoint presentation slides 1 week before the conference to the announced email.
Participants who intend to use video conferencing should contact and inform us at least 10 days before the conference date.

Symposium on Advances in Science & Technology
Khavaran Institute of Higher-education (KHI) is a Non-governmental, tertiary institution working under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, Iran. According to the latest statistics asserted by Webometrics organization (www.webometrics.info), KHI has gained the first rank among more than 320 similar institutions in Iran. Also KHI is within top first 70 non-medical universities in Iran and has a good rank in whole world. KHI is determined to become an internationally active university by advancing knowledge through researches and by educating students in science, technology, and other scholarly fields that will best serve the country and the world.
